Responsibilities
- The NOC Specialist is responsible for ensuring constant availability and uninterruptable operation of the company’s multi-service network and customers’ activity
- Monitors and supports the SportingTech production environment and applications
- Respond to production monitoring alerts by executing simple fix procedures and implementing known workarounds to mitigate immediate customer impact
- Trigger the incident response process in case the issue complexity requires it
- Identifies and verifies service impact to customers and strive to problem resolution
- Communicates with internal and customer-facing teams in support of status updates related to open issues, and implements actions in support of root cause analysis and problem remediation
- Providing operational support to different company units
Requirements
- Provide weekly/monthly/ad-hoc monitoring and alarm related reporting.
- Capture data regarding common and/or recurring issues and triggers Problem investigation
- Monitoring and maintaining server systems and networks
- Hands-on experience with “Developer Tools* in browser
- Good understanding of HIP response code
- Hands-on experience with TCP/IP troubleshooting tools (ping, traceroute, mtr, nslookup, netstat, route)
- Good understanding of TCP/IP networking
- Good knowledge of Windows and Linux servers
- Experience with service monitoring
- Very good English language
- Team player
- Willingness to work on shifts including nights and weekends
