The Senior DevOps Engineer proactively provides the best approach and solutions for the implementation according to best DevOps practices, based on their experience built over the years.
Responsibilities
- Provides expertise and creativity in the development, support, and implementation of various services and solutions according to the project and different teams requirements using the DevOps best practices
- Design, develop and maintain Continuous Delivery and Integration strategies
- Ensures Product Releases are on-time with quality
- Proactively find process optimization opportunities
- Maintain clear documentation to facilitate collaboration, troubleshooting, and future development
- Excellent communication and soft skills to collaborate with different teams within the company
About You
Essential:
- Experience as IT professional with a strong grasp of processes related to planning, executing, and releasing production quality software
- Strong understanding and experience in working with cloud providers – Azure, AWS or others
- Strong expertise with infrastructure as code tools, configuration management and automation frameworks – Terraform, Ansible, or similar
- Understanding of CI/CD methodologies and experience with GitLab CI, Jenkins, or similar
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Helm, Docker and cloud-native infrastructure to deploy and manage components and microservices
- Understanding and experience with branching methodologies using Bitbucket, GitHub or Gitlab
- Experience with system monitoring, logging, tracing, and code analysis tools – Grafana, Prometheus, Loki, ELK, Kafka, SonarQube
- Using programming and scripting languages such as Python, Groovy, Bash or PowerShell for automating and simplifying different processes
- Understand OS and networking concepts, security and protocols
- Experience with web servers and load balancing tools such as NGINX, HAProxy, etc
- Understanding Security Engineering and Security Standards & Practices
- Strong experience with SQL/NoSQL database concepts such as Oracle, MS SQL or PostgreSQL
- Experience in one or a combination of the following IAM Architecture & Identity Aggregation technologies such as RadiantOne Virtual Directory Services, Oracle Virtual Directory, Oracle Unified Directory, OKTA, SailPoint or PING experience
- Understanding of SDLC, Agile Methodology, Change Management and Release Management processes
